Use case and inspiration

As a software engineer, I have a continuous drive to learn every waking moment. However, with work hours, family, and my relationship, I noticed that I became detached from a core aspect of my personality - creativity and constant creative exploration. I had decided to take on a project larger than anything I had executed or attempted in the past - something that I could apply all of my accumulated knowledge into.

Modern social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and Reddit offer a broad array of challenges and opportunities for software engineers to learn from and observe. From scalability and data management to search algorithms, user experience, and cross-platform compatibility, these platforms incorporate a diverse array of features.

Although this project is far too expensive for me to justify hosting. I am writing this documentation to keep track of problems that I solved on my journey as well as potentially being a resource for others to use in projects. Additionally, I hope to look back on this project to scrutinise when I am a wise and old tenured software engineer.
